I saw the Acropolis in person when we visited Greece—it was absolutely breathtaking. We could even see it from the rooftop restaurant at our hotel, which made it feel even more surreal. Set high on a rocky hill, the Acropolis is one of the most visited historical sites in the world. Within it sits the iconic Parthenon, a marvel of ancient architecture. Its perfectly rectangular design, precisely cut marble, and subtly inward-slanting columns showcase incredible craftsmanship and help manage rainwater and provide seismic reinforcement.
